We design buildings, and the spaces between them.
We are a small studio in Ardenfield and Westmere. In seven years we have built cafés, houses, a resort, a science centre and a school for blind children. Every job starts with the site, and with the people who will use it.
01 The practice
A good building is not a clever one. It is cool in summer, dry in the monsoon, and cheap enough to finish. All of that is decided in the plan, which is why we spend so long there before anyone draws an elevation.
How we work
We begin with a feasibility study, not a moodboard. What can be built here, what the rules allow, what it will cost. Once we know that, the design can stand up on site and at the bank.
What we care about
Shade, moving air, and materials that get better as they age. Northshire and Eastvale are hot, then wet, then dusty. A detail that looks fine on paper has to survive all three.
Who we build for
Restaurant owners, families, a resort group, a charity and a school. We like the mix. It stops us having one house style to fall back on.

05 Voices
They listened, and then gave us something better than we had asked for. The place works as well at eight in the morning as it does at midnight.
It was finished when they said it would be, and it cost what they said it would. That is rarer than it ought to be.
A young team, and a careful one. We would start another job with them tomorrow.
We described the house badly and they worked out what we meant. Two years in, there is nothing we would change.
They stayed inside our budget and still gave us three proper options to choose from.
